Kuala Gandah Elephant Concervation Centre

Is established in 1989. The centre is a base for the Elephant Relocation Team, which began the elephant translocation programme in 1974. The only one of its kind in Malaysia, the team is dedicated to locating,subduing and then translocating problem elephants from areas where their habitats are constantly being encroached by plantations. Furthermore, Kuala Gandah also aims to promote public awareness of the elephant's plight in Malaysia. It was an interesting experience for who like and love for animals. This place is very suitable for those who want to see elephants up close. All the elephants are found here have been trained well enough by experienced instructors. Those who want experience with the elephants could come to this place. Among the fun activities here are :- Video show, feed the elephants, elephants rides and bathing with elephants. It should be remembered you have to take more clothes because in this activity you're getting wet.
